Getting Started
Once you are in Excel, we need
to prepare Excel to do statistics. This is done by going under Tools (put the
cursor (or mouse) over Tools and click the left button). Now slide down to
Add-Ins..., and again click the left mouse button. You should get a menu titled
Add-Ins. The option we are interested in is called Analysis ToolPak. Place the
mouse over the box in front of Analysis ToolPak and click the left mouse button.
This should put a checkmark in the box before Analysis ToolPak. Click OK.
Note: If everything worked
correctly you should have a Data Analysis... option under Tools.
